MedRemind ("we," "our," or "us") provides a medication tracking and reminder mobile application. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy and safeguarding your health data. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information collected through our application and website.

2. Information Collection

We collect and store information in two main configurations depending on your usage preferences:

  • Local Mode (Default): If you do not register a cloud account, all medication schedules, intake history logs, and quantities are saved strictly on your local device. We do not transmit or access this data on our servers.
  • Cloud Sync Mode: If you register a profile, we collect your email address, profile username, and synchronize your medication schedule database to our secure cloud servers to enable cross-device access.

3. Data Protection and Encryption

Your health data is highly sensitive. We implement state-of-the-art security measures to protect your synchronized cloud records: All transmissions use HTTPS/TLS, and database tables containing medication lists are encrypted at rest on our secure servers.

4. Data Sharing and Commercialization

We do not commercialize or distribute patient data. We will never sell, lease, or share your personal health details, prescription lists, or logging logs with insurance providers, advertising companies, pharmaceutical corporations, or third-party brokers.

5. Third-Party Integrations

MedRemind may interact with your mobile Operating System's local notification framework and system clock. We do not use third-party analytics plugins that scrape private health logs or target advertisements based on your treatment profile.

6. User Access Rights & GDPR/CCPA

Regardless of your geographic location, you retain full rights over your data. You may:

  • Export your data at any time via the PDF report export feature in the app.
  • Modify or delete specific medication records in the app dashboard.
  • Permanently delete your profile and wipe all server records through the portal on our Account Management Page.

7. Updates to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy to reflect app iterations or regulatory compliance revisions. Any modifications will be updated on this page with an adjusted Effective Date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
